Commencement will find all Students wearing regalia made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles! Fewer plastic bottles will be choking our landfills because for every Dabney S. Lancaster Community College student walking at commencement, an average of 25 plastic bottles was used to manufacture their cap and gown.
In the effort to remain green on campus, the line of graduation wear - named NuHorizon® - is made of fabric spun from molten plastic pellets. With some 60 million plastic bottles going into U.S. landfills every day, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is helping to turn trash into keepsakes.

Your Bookstore has everything you need for graduation. Order your cap and gown here and have it shipped to the bookstores for in-store pickup after April 1, 2022.
